i have several friends with varied mental disorders. They have or are now using prescribed medications and have seen doctors, therapists etc. The cumulative effects of long term prescription use for one is dyskinesia. Now the med community is pretty much dropping the responsibility ball. Others are dealing better, all paths are different. Stigma here makes me think of the Calvinist, Lutheran dogma about.leprosy.Ok to help the leper but as the dis-ease was god letting the person work off sins on Earth..the leper was not being helped for the persons good, but to make the do-gooder prove his/her own charitable qualities!
