93-year-old Becomes an Actress

93-year-old Becomes an Actress
Mae Laborde is not your average 97-year-old. While most people her age struggle to just maintain their activities, Laborde continues to push the bounds. She is a working actress, with a steady flow of jobs in commercials, TV shows and film -- not bad for someone who just broke into the business at the age of 93. It’s not that Laborde has a perfectly fit body either: she took a fall several months ago and had to give up driving and get a caretaker. But none of this seems to slow down this central casting granny with a smile that says she just crocheted a scarf and took some fresh Toll House cookies out of the oven.
