2月8日，艾米·荣格和她的儿子伊桑来到位于威斯康星州斯特金湾家附近的动物保护协会，想和猫咪们玩耍。然而，一只名叫布丁的21磅重的橙白相间的猫咪却吸引了他们的目光。荣格了解到，这只性格温顺的猫咪自2003年以来就一直在收容所里进进出出，于是她一时冲动，决定收养它和它的朋友温西。
荣格说，猫咪们一到新家就很快适应了。但仅仅几个小时后，荣格一家原本愉快的一天就急转直下。艾米·荣格（Amy Jung）从小就患有糖尿病，上床睡觉后不久，她在睡梦中突发糖尿病癫痫。
这时，布丁立刻行动起来。这只行动迅速的猫咪坐在荣格的胸口，试图叫醒她。见这招不管用，它就用鼻子拱她、轻轻咬她的脸，直到她短暂地恢复了意识。

I have never had a selfish or solitary cat. If people gave cats the same attention they do dogs, I have no doubt the bond and affection would be the same.

other species have sharper sensing ability in many areas. This is a fact we arrogantly refuse to accept and treat them as if they are dead meat. What a shame. They way we treat other species is a clear indication that Darwin as all wrong about evolution.
Not that I don't believe that animals can't sense things but I do believe the writer took a little liberty with the story. "The fast-acting feline sat on Jung's chest in an attempt to wake her up and when that didn't work, he nudged and nipped her face until she briefly returned to consciousness." How does the writer know the cat sat on her chest and that the sitting didn't wake the lady? Did the cat tell the writer? I don't know who made the assumption, the lady or the writer, but it would be nice if the writer or the editor had clarified that before the story was sent to press.
Well, we are in the world that cats or dogs don't talk.
We use these stories to tell children. So are we children or it has got other meanings?
People these days can abuse you in indirect way.
