The Great Unraveling ..as the personal and cultural stories are entwined- at least that was my experience when i asked myself why i thought i was who i thought i was, for a new installation (i do story in 3d scenes) most beliefs yielded to inquiry and new translation possibilities rose from their ashes. That's where the path leaped the boundaries. And the beat goes on.....
After a day on Glacier Bay with a park ranger/naturalist and culminating with a Tlingit storyteller, I can only say, "Amene, Wakan Tanka wopila tanka!"
