Thank You for articulating this! My 104 yr old blind and walking resident just passed and she loved Siri! She and a college student had a discussion about their reliance on Siri and Alexa. I was boggled. But I realize this was in the absence of people available. They would much rather have the people despite their love for technology. I have taken off my auto-text on my phone as it was making more mistakes and I was forgetting how to spell words. Like doing math by hand and then checking with a calculator strengthens the skill.
