I am touched and challenged by your reflections. Wow, you write so clearly and honestly. It helps me understand why the many photos I takeI give to others. It's so much easier to do, not to sell them and deal with making money with them. Most of the photos help me connect with nature and my surroundings. They also make acts of kindness as I give them to local organizations who sell them for non-profit causes. So they aren't completely sale-free. Yet they are still gifts which uplift me and the people I give them to. Also the calendars I make with them.. So many people have told me they love my photos. That is part of what makes me want to continue making them and to keep giving them to others.
