If we don't believe in a "hereafter," the meaning of this person's wonderful musings does change some. However, I think it still has great value as it applies to the reality/truth of our being here now (hyphenate that, if you like). I'm grateful I read this, and for this person's life.

I appreciate this perspective. Whether or not we hold the same beliefs about what comes after this life, I also feel that Belinda’s words invite us to pay attention to the life we are living right now.
Her reflections remind us that love, presence, kindness, and generosity have meaning in the here and now. Perhaps one of the gifts of her story is simply this invitation to live more fully, to connect more deeply, and to offer what we can while we are here.
I’m grateful for her life and for the wisdom she chose to share with us.
