Dear Jan, taking a leap of faith does not require money. Please do yourself and everyone else a favor and live your life now. I wish more people would. The world is full of people trying to fix things and needing lots of money to do it! After reading your message again, just one more "word of wisdom" since you asked for it: if there is really so much you have not completed, then stick to just one thing and finish that. As the saying goes your inbox will be full when you die, so pick what's most important to you and get it done. It might well be taking a day off and smelling the roses. By the way, you sound cute... like a puppy trying to catch his/her tail. Stop chasing it! Or at least have fun while doing it! LOLO

Leap, and the net will appear. --John Burroughs

Just love this! Life doesn't reveal much until we try. All artists, who eventually stumble upon the hidden treasures inherent in the making of art, discover this lesson while they face the blank sheet of paper or canvas for the first of many times. So much of the thrill is in trying, and letting the mystery and magic take you on its own wild journey. Leap, the net will appear, and you will fall in love with the soaring!

It's ok to take your time. Learning to be patient with yourself is a very valuable experience. Remember, courage is not the abscence of fear, but of being afraid and yet still going ahead and doing it anyway. :-)

That's so true. We always try to find 'reasonable' excuse not to take a risk and step out of comfort zone.

Love this! I went ice skating for maybe the second time in my life and I'm so glad I did, at the age of 31, haha. It is fun and amazing exercise- I could have overthought it but I didn't and just went. The above pics are pretty accurate!

Marc Roth....I have been thinking the same thing....I need to take the leap and live because there is much I have not completed......people would dig me up and walk my dead body around to complete some of this unfinished business of mine. It seems every leap I take require borrowed money to do so and I just can't seem to wrap my head around where it begins to look up for a while .......ant words of wisdom from anyone ??

Pennyroyal-you are right that no magical net appears, but perhaps it starts a change. Here is my perspective http://www.justonlyjudy.com...
A post I wrote in September "When you Cannot Take a Leap of Faith..." for an option when you cannot 'leap'

Where is the one with the dead people bleeding out on the ground? Which ironically if piled high enough would make it possible to survive the fall yourself.

Maybe because I'm cautious, but I have had to play it safe in life. No magical net appears. And there are many cliffs I sure am glad I didn't jump off.
