Und so hat sich ein Großteil des Stresses, den ich früher deswegen hatte, weil ich dachte: „Oh je, ich muss das alles ganz allein schaffen“, gelegt, weil mir klar wurde, dass ich es nicht allein schaffe. Ich bin im Moment nur zufällig das Gesicht des Programms. Und irgendwann wird jemand, der darin besser und klüger ist als ich, die Führung übernehmen. Diese Person wird sagen: „Du hast uns einen guten Start ermöglicht. Lass uns das ausbauen. Lass uns das noch weiter voranbringen.“

Wonderful! This practice reminds me of the many ways of being in many lower income countries where people pay gpr services with other goods, with time, with labor. Here's to service, here's to interactional/relational rather than transactional.♡

What a wonderful idea that this surgeon has put into practice! When you consider the many downsides of health insurance in the United States, reading about a program like the one Dr. Demetrio Aguila has created is such a breath of fresh air. It preserves' patients' dignity, helps patients to remain financially stable and it increases volunteerism in the community. I hope more health care practitioners follow suit!
