그만큼   영적인 여정에서 , 이것이 내 사명이 아니라는 사실에 위안을 얻습니다. 이 아이디어는 내가 혼자 생각해낸 것이 아닙니다. "내가 얼마나 똑똑한지 봐. 이런 아이디어를 생각해낼 거야."라고 말한 적도 없습니다. [...]

그래서 예전에는 "와, 이걸 다 혼자 해야 하다니"라는 생각에 스트레스를 많이 받았었는데, 이제는 그런 스트레스가 많이 줄었어요. 왜냐하면 제가 혼자 하는 게 아니라는 걸 깨달았거든요. 저는 단지 지금 이 프로그램의 대표 얼굴일 뿐이에요. 언젠가는 저보다 더 잘하는 사람, 더 똑똑한 사람이 나타나서 이끌어 줄 거예요. 그 사람이 "당신이 좋은 출발을 만들어 줬어요. 이제 이 프로그램을 확장하고 더 발전시켜 나가자"라고 말할 거예요.

Wonderful! This practice reminds me of the many ways of being in many lower income countries where people pay gpr services with other goods, with time, with labor. Here's to service, here's to interactional/relational rather than transactional.♡

What a wonderful idea that this surgeon has put into practice! When you consider the many downsides of health insurance in the United States, reading about a program like the one Dr. Demetrio Aguila has created is such a breath of fresh air. It preserves' patients' dignity, helps patients to remain financially stable and it increases volunteerism in the community. I hope more health care practitioners follow suit!
