Naš svet je tako poln čudes, da vsak dan odkrivamo nove in neverjetne kraje, pa naj bodo to profesionalni fotografi ali amaterji. Različne geografske lege, podnebne razmere in celo letni časi ponujajo najrazličnejše naravne čudeže: rožnata jezera, osupljiva polja sivke ali tulipanov, dih jemajoče kanjone in gore ter druge kraje, za katere komaj verjameš, da dejansko obstajajo!
Nekatere slike v tej zbirki bodo vseh naravnih znamenitosti, ki jih lahko najdete med potovanjem po svetu, druge pa so doživele človeški poseg – a tudi v teh primerih je rezultat takšnega sodelovanja spektakularen. Japonci so se naučili ukrotiti na tisoče orhidej in iz njih oblikovati romantičen tunel; drugo je vse do Ukrajine oblikoval mimovozeči vlak; in kar se na koncu konča kot vroč čaj v naših skodelicah, najprej zraste na osupljivih drevesnih poljih v Aziji.
Ni čudno, da je potovanje ena najboljših oblik rekreacije – že ob pogledu na te slike vas misli ponesejo v daljne kraje… In ja, vsi ti kraji so resnični!

Wow! These places and photos are stunning. This story inspired me to reflect on this morning in Toronto: It is grey outside and as the train silently hums towards the city I can hear the generous drops of rain falling from the tips of the surrounding trees on to the windows. A loud clap of thunder woke me up this morning, as if the day announced with unabashed grandeur, "I am here." In this moment it was hard to believe that the same voice that whispers the silent flutter of a springtime leaf can also roar with such stunning displays of electricity. Such a beautiful day on the magnificent place that we call earth.
Refreshing! Life is worth living for.
