Completely unnecessary elaboration. The voyager picture and Sagan's text say it all perfectly and concisely. Nothing more is needed.
Great job doing justice to Sagan's great quote. Glad the author took the time to do it right. I think I got most of the characters of history except for the woman next to Lincoln and the woman next to Jobs. I would not have included Jobs simply because I don't think history will judge him as being that important (relative to the others portrayed).
Happy anniversary, Gavin! Another brilliant illustration of a pearl of wisdom. I can't believe it's only been a year either! You do beautiful work and contribute much to inspire us to deal more kindly with one another. Hope that feels really good!
Interesting story about the Pale Blue Dot. Carl Sagan was a genius and died at age 62. He will never be forgotten.
