vastaa jokaisen eläimen yhteispainoa
maan päällä. Mukaan lukien hyönteiset. Kolme kertaa.
Kuusi miljardia tonnia kuulostaa mahdottomalta
kunnes ajattelen, kuinka surun nieleminen on -
vain teelusikallinen ja olisi voinut yhtä hyvin kuluttaa
neutronitähti. Kuinka tiheä se on,
kuinka se kantaa sisällään romahduksen muistoa.
Kuinka vaikeaa sitten on liikkua.
Kuinka mahdotonta uskoa tuohon mitään
voisi nostaa sitä painoa.
On monia syitä kohdella toisiaan
suurella hellyydellä. Yksi on
ihme, että olemme täällä yhdessä
planeetalla, jota ympäröivät kuolevat tähdet.
Yksi on se, että emme näe mitä
joku muu on niellyt.
