Shule Ya Genius Inachukua Nafasi Ya Kizuizini Na Kutafakari

Shule ya Baltimore imekuja na njia nzuri ya kuwazuia watoto kuigiza darasani. Badala ya kuwapeleka watoto kizuizini, wao huwapeleka watoto kwenye Chumba cha Muda wa Kutafakari kwa Tafakari.

Kwa ushirikiano na Holistic Life Foundation , shirika lisilo la faida ambalo linakuza ustawi, Shule ya Msingi ya Robert W. Coleman ilianzisha chumba cha kutafakari ili kuwasaidia wanafunzi wake " kutulia na kurejea katikati ."

Shule ya Baltimore sio pekee iliyoona manufaa kutokana na kuwafahamisha wanafunzi wake kutafakari na kuzingatia. Katika Shule ya Kati ya Wayzata Magharibi ya Minnesota, kwa mfano, mwalimu wa darasa la 8 Seth Brown huanza na kumalizia kila darasa kwa kutafakari ili kuwatuliza wanafunzi wake na kuwasaidia kuzingatia.

Akizungumzia matokeo chanya ya mazoezi hayo, Brown aliiambia CBS News: “[Wanafunzi wangu] wote hawako kwenye ukurasa mmoja, kwa hivyo badala ya kusumbua kila mtu, wanaweza kutumia uangalifu wao wenyewe kuanza kupumua na labda wasipasuke au kumchukua mtoto aliye karibu nao, kwa sababu ndivyo vijana hufanya.”

this is my home town, baltimore, racked with violence, so good to see this. i believe in the power of meditation

meditation is a step into the centered self, a good way to appreciate the moment etc. However the next step into a wiser understanding of our singular self's connection to all that we have deemed as other is rarely faced, even though it awaits on the edges. When we start processes and projects that can actualize this largesse of spirit into tangible realizable concepts, then we will leap the false boundaries created by the god/king alliance beliefs that set this stage.

Happy to see this wider use and understanding of the power of meditation especially with children. Wonderful
