恐惧和焦虑的解决方案

想象一下,你刚躺到床上,正准备入睡,脑子里却开始胡思乱想。我喂猫了吗?如果我不小心喂了两次,它会不会长胖?猫会得糖尿病吗?虽然这只是个滑稽的例子,但如果你曾经陷入过焦虑的恶性循环,你就能体会到焦虑的滋味。对有些人来说,焦虑只是令人烦恼,但对很多人来说,它却会让人感到难以承受,甚至影响生活。

如果你正饱受恐惧和焦虑的折磨,你并不孤单。焦虑症是美国最常见的精神疾病——超过5000万人一生中都曾被诊断出患有焦虑症。值得庆幸的是,医学博士、哲学博士弗里德曼·绍布(Friedemann Schaub)在他的著作(电子大学出版社,2012年)中,为焦虑症患者提供了一种看待和应对这种疾病的全新视角。

对抗限制性信念最简单却最有效的方法之一,就是用新的、积极的信念取而代之。在《恐惧与焦虑的解决方案:潜意识疗愈与赋能的突破性过程》一书中,作者阐述了这一观点。 绍布博士概述了建立新的核心信念需要采取的三个步骤:

第一步:定义新的核心信念

以下是一些通用准则:

新的信念需要用肯定句而非否定句来表达。“我很放松”就是一个肯定句的例子。相反,“我没有焦虑”是否定句,这无助于你形成新的信念——你的潜意识会忽略“没有”中的“没有”,反而会让你产生更多焦虑,需要你去克服。

即使你用积极的方式表达,诸如“我足够好”或“我很安全”之类的肯定句也可能无效。有时,这些话听起来与你过去的信念过于相似。有时,它们可能会引发诸如“我真的足够好吗?”或“我安全吗?”之类的疑问。这些疑问只会加剧恐惧和焦虑。

* 新的信念最好用现在时而不是将来时来表达。告诉自己“我会保持冷静和自信”,会将这种信念的实现推迟到遥遥无期的未来。“我现在就冷静自信”则将信念置于此时此地。

* 将观点表达得简短明了。冗长的句子往往缺乏力度,难以记忆。

第二步:亲眼所见,亲身感受,亲身相信

1. 描绘一个全新的自己。想象自己成为体现新信念特质的人——例如,一个平和、自信、充满活力、充满力量的人……你可以想象未来的自己身处新的办公室,在夏威夷的海滩上,或者在颁奖典礼上,被朋友们簇拥着,为他们欢呼喝彩。

2. 唤醒感官。当你充满力量时,你会看到什么、听到什么、闻到什么、尝到什么?你的体态和面部表情又会如何?[…] 想象一下,你看着镜子,脸上绽放出灿烂的笑容。你挺拔而立,同时又感到放松自在,由内而外散发着自信。

3. 用情感为全新的自己注入活力。当你成为内心屏幕上呈现的那个人时,你会作何感想?[…] 无论你的初衷多么美好,如果你能将新的想法与新模式成为现实后的感受联系起来,你的潜意识就更容易接受这些新想法。这将与你渴望的结果建立积极的情感联系,并为你的潜意识提供实现梦想所需的能量。

步骤三:收集佐证材料

阻碍想法付诸实践的最大障碍是怀疑。[…] 如果你能消除怀疑,你的潜意识就更有可能放下旧的信念,代之以新的、你渴望的信念。消除怀疑的最佳方法是收集令人信服的证据来支持你的新想法。这将表明你拥有成为你所设想的全新(更强大的)自我的潜能和资源。

* 写下你人生中完成的十件事、你拥有的十项技能和才能,以及你解决问题或克服逆境的十次经历。如果你觉得每个类别都列出十项太多,那可能是你对自己太过苛刻了。要像对待你爱的人一样,宽容地、开明地对待自己。

* 问问朋友或亲人他们欣赏你哪些方面。别不好意思问。你不是在寻求赞美——你是在寻找客观的反馈,用来消除疑虑。

冥想并与你的内在自我连接。想象你焕然一新、更有力量的本质,照亮你真正的潜能。与你放松、自信的本性建立联系。冥想这种状态。

怀疑自己、恐惧而非自信是人之常情。但如果你努力建立新的核心信念,你就能开始战胜那些让你痛苦、让你瘫痪、阻碍你发挥全部潜能的消极想法。

My big fear right now is about money and how much student loan debt I'm in (about $130,000). In about a year, I will be required to start paying about $1,120 per month on it. I am terrified. I really don't want to take some job that I hate that will kill my soul just to make these payments. I want to start my own business. I don't know how I will ever pay that off. What will happen if I can't pay it? Will I get put in jail? Will I have to declare bankruptcy? These are the thoughts that are going through my mind if I name my fears. Just opening my bank account and looking at it or logging on to the website where my loans are is an act of courage for me right now. Maybe courage begins with just practicing those small steps regularly and getting comfortable with seeing those numbers.

Shall we dare to criticize is that a negative? Yes it is but its not the end of the world. Critiquing self & things that are in are sphere of responsibility is part of the process as is developing a strategy of approaching a subject with solutions rather than draw on the negative that already happened.
